Mesa Verde National Park Residences & Museum Rehabilitation

This project consists of the rehabilitation of nine historic structures within the Chapin Mesa area of Mesa Verde National Park, including the Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum and eight National Park Service residences that contribute to designated historic districts. The work includes restoration of historic masonry, chimneys, wood elements, windows, doors, and roofing; interior renovations with new finishes, cabinetry, and appliances; comprehensive upgrades to mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and telecommunications systems; and associated site improvements, including drainage, concrete flatwork, and underground utility infrastructure. All work is being performed within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Park Service historic district, requiring strict adherence to historic preservation standards while modernizing the facilities for continued long-term use.
