Steve founded Centerre Construction in 1989 and currently serves as President. Building is in his blood with both of his grandfathers, several uncles, and his father owning construction companies. He has worked in all areas from construction, including executive management, estimating, project supervision, finance, real estate development, and company operations. Steve has experience on over 1,000 projects ranging from $100,000 to $50,000,000 and is responsible for the overall success of the organization, creating, communicating, and implementing Centerre’s Vision, Mission, and direction. Steve’s proactive approach to resolving construction challenges and client advocacy has resulted in him taking an important leadership role on many of our major projects. His accessibility to clients and active involvement in Centerre projects ensure clients that their work is being closely monitored from the highest level of the firm. Steve is committed to furthering the values of creativity, collaboration, and communication that lie at the heart of Centerre and believes these values will heavily influence the future of the company.
Linda has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a particular focus on the construction industry. As Controller, Linda manages Centerre’s financial and information technology operations, including strategic planning, accounting, cash management, tax reviews, reporting, and risk management. Linda has been with Centerre since 1996.
Previously a World War II Munitions Plant and, most recently, an aging and vacant warehouse, Building 48 is now reimagined as a cutting-edge workplace. The building achieves LEED Gold, SITES Silver, net zero energy, and other bold sustainable design goals. Its building operations will not generate carbon as it is a 100% electric building, and there is no natural gas service to the building. Designed to SITES Silver certification, the landscape features adaptable trees, a pollinator garden, and bioswales for water conservation to further connect employees to nature.
