Founded in 1989, Centerre Construction offers expertise in preconstruction, construction management, general construction, design/build services. We have completed work across various project types and budgets, including office, medical, retail, education, recreation, government, and hospitality projects ranging from 5,000 SF to 300,000 SF with a construction cost of $500,000—$50,000,000. We deliver many projects of the same size and scope as our larger competitors, but we do so with additional attention and service. Our company’s size allows us numerous benefits: we are fully capable of providing leading edge construction practices within a project team while at the same time ensuring team continuity from preconstruction through project completion. Centerre has been completing design-build projects for over 25 years that fully integrate all aspects of a project, from design and pre-construction to construction and closeout. Construction Management / General Contractor (CM/GC)

Centerre has a long history of completing projects under Construction Management /General Contractor (CMGC) delivery method. When working as a CM/GC, we bring team members together to meet project challenges and to realize advantages for the project and owner. Through early involvement, we provide realistic feedback to the owner and architect on cost, schedule, constructability, value engineering, long-lead items, and availability of materials and workforce. Our construction teams maintain a strong understanding and respect for the design process and a passion for motivating all parties to work together towards common goals. As the CM/GC, we will bring a team-building atmosphere amongst all parties, resulting in better innovation and more rewarding project experience. Because of the contract relationship, portions of the project can be released in various bid packages. Bids are reviewed with the client, and contracts are awarded to the lowest qualified subcontractor. Our clients benefit from the team working together from the early phases of the design process to develop plans, specifications, and a construction process that will maximize the value of the investment in the final building.

Depending on the challenges associated with the project, the traditional or conventional approach to construction can be prudent. In this approach, the Owner commissions the Architect to prepare drawings and specifications and selects Centerre through a competitive bidding process. The design is typically “frozen” and detailed without the benefit of construction information on cost, schedule impact, or constructability.

Preconstruction is about more than estimates and schedules. At Centerre, we take a broader view, enabling us to take on the kind of multifaceted projects our clients face. From the beginning, our integrated approach is about total transparency and collaboration with the entire project team, including our preconstruction experts and the operations team to deliver the project. We offer a full suite of planning and preconstruction services, including cost estimating services from conceptual budgeting through construction documentation. These services can include assistance with entitlement, constructability analysis, value engineering, cash flow analysis, and scheduling. From the outset, we focus on realistic budgeting, accurate documentation, and ongoing review of costs to ensure clients make educated decisions towards their final plan.
