Gates Tennis
Center

OVERVIEW

The Gates Tennis Center is a new 12,000 sf tennis clubhouse. The structure was CMU and structural steel with 8,500 sf on two levels with an additional 4,200 sf on the basement level. The design-build project included the demolition of the existing clubhouse building and four tennis courts. The new facility features a reception area, staff offices, pro-shop, viewing lounge, men’s and women’s locker rooms all on the main level; new offices and conferences rooms for the Colorado Tennis Association on the second level. Centerre also simultaneously completed four new post-tension tennis courts. Sitework included a new patio area, paved sidewalks and landscaping of infill areas. The project was constructed on a landfill, which required Centerre to remove over 15,000 cubic yards of landfill from the site while the facility remained operating and functioning for the entire construction duration.
