Aerospace Support Equipment and Storage Facility

OVERVIEW

The 140th Wing Colorado Air National Guard is headquartered at Buckley Air Force in Aurora, CO and is comprised of over 1,600 personnel who support multiple operational missions.

The new 12,500 sf one-story Aerospace Support Equipment (ASE) and storage facility will service the 140th Wing Colorado Air National Guard. Scope of work includes excavation, erosion control, site improvement, landscaping, paving, concrete flatwork, concrete foundations, masonry, structural steel, EPDM roofing, metal roof panels, waterproofing, metal wall panels, millwork, doors & hardware, glazing, drywall, ceiling, nonstructural metal framing, painting, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm, mass notification and low voltage. The new ASE facility included interior crane hoist rail, indoors wash rack, tool crib, bench stock storage, covered storage, and administrative space. USACE Three Phase Quality Control Management System with a dedicated Quality Control Manger was utilized on this project. This project was completed inside an active airfield within approximately 100 yards from the flightline.
